LICENSE AGREEMENT
You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before
using this software. Your use of this software indicates your
acceptance of this license agreement and warranty.
You agree not to copy, modify, transmit or reverse engineer this
software. Also you agree not to use this software for any purpose
or in any manner other than for which it is expressly provided.
One single user version copy may either be used only by a single
person who uses the software personally on one or more computers,
or installed on a single workstation used nonsimultaneously by
multiple people, but not both.
One single network version may be used on one or more computers
simultaneously installed on a single workstation.
One multiple network version may be used on one or more computers
simultaneously installed on more than a single workstation upto
the number of networks specified in the multiple network version
license.
You also agree to remove the demo software and the related documents
from all the computers immediately after 30 days from the date of
receipt of the demo software and return the demo software to TEXTILE
COMPUTER SYSTEMS INC (USA).
GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas,
USA.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND WITH-
OUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY OTHER
WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Because of the various
hardware and software environments into which this software may be
put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS OFFERED.
Good data processing procedure dictates that any software be thoro-
ughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it. The
user must assume the entire risk of using this software. ANY LI-
ABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT REPLACE-
MENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE OR CURRENT MARKET PRICE WHICH EVER IS
LOWER UPTO US$100.

SQR Tools Executer Software Objectives are to provide a Graphical User Interface to
execute any SQR Tool or any SQR and also to provide an easier interface
to edit or view any text file pertaining to any SQR Tool or any SQR.
To install the software the following 4 Install files are needed:
1. SETUP.LST
2. SQRTlE1.CAB
3. SQRTlE2.CAB
4. SETUP.EXE
Following are the steps to install the software:
1. Copy the required 4 install files into a new sub directory.
2. Execute SETUP.EXE by double clicking this executable file
3. Enter the required information interactively. Select the directory in
which the SQR Tools are installed as the directory to install this software.
Restart the computer.

SQR Tools Executer provides a GUI to execute any SQR Tool or any SQR and also
could be used to edit or view any file pertaining to any SQR Tool or SQR. Currently
SQR Tools Executer is available only for Windows Operating System. When this software
is executed a window as shown in Figure 1 will be presented to the user.

If the file "SQRTOOLS.DAT" is present in the same sub directory where the SQR
Tools Executer executable is saved, then the parameters will be read from that file.
The following buttons are available to perform an action:
Open:
A mouse click on "Open" button would bring up file dialog box so that
the file with the parameters for SQR Tools Executer could be opened.
Save:
A mouse click on "Save" button would save the parameters.
SaveAs:
A mouse click on "SaveAs" button would bring up a file dialog box so
that the parameters could be saved into a new file.
Execute Tool or Execute SQR:
A mouse click on "Execute Tool" button would execute the currently
selected tool as shown in the dialog box next to the label "Tool Name:".
A mouse click on "Execute SQR" button would execute the currently
selected SQR as shown in the dialog box next to the label "SQR File:".
"Execute SQR" button would be shown only when the currently selected
tool name is "Execute SQR File", otherwise "Execute Tool" button would
be shown.
Execute Editor:
A mouse click on "Execute Editor" button would execute the text editor
using the file as shown in the dialog box next to the label "File Name:".
A mouse click on "Exit" button would close the window and terminate the
program.
Dialog boxes with the following titles are available to enter the required
information or to select a file:
SQR Executeable:
The dialog box next to the label "SQR Executable:" could be used to
select the SQR Executable File. Either the name of the file could be
entered in the dialog box or a mouse double click in this dialog box
could be used to select the SQR Executable using a file dialog box.
SQR Connectivity:
The dialog box next to the label "SQR Connectivity" could be used to
enter the SQR Connectivity information. The Connectivity string
depends on the RDBMS being used. To know more about SQR Connectivity
string, please refer to SQR Manual.
SQR Size File: (-M):
The dialog box next to the label "SQR Size File: (-M)" could be used to
select the SQR Size File. Either the name of the file could be
entered in the dialog box or a mouse double click in this dialog box
could be used to select the SQR Size File using a file dialog box.
SQR Log File: (-O):
The dialog box next to the label "SQR Log File: (-O):" could be used to
select the SQR Log File. Either the name of the file could be entered in the dialog box
or a mouse double click in this dialog box could be used to select the
SQR Log File using a file dialog box.
SQR List File: (-F):
The dialog box next to the label "SQR List File: (-F):" could be used to
select the SQR List File. Either the name of the file could be
entered in the dialog box or a mouse double click in this dialog box
could be used to select the SQR List File using a file dialog box.
Text Editor Executable:
The dialog box next to the label "Text Editor Executable:" could be used
to select the Text Editor Executable File. Either the name of the
file could be entered in the dialog box or a mouse double click in this
dialog box could be used to select the Text Editor Executable using a
file dialog box.
Expand Tool Executable:
The dialog box next to the label "Expand Tool Executable:" could be used
to select the Expand Tool Executable File. Either the name of the
file could be entered in the dialog box or a mouse double click in this
dialog box could be used to select the Expand Tool Executable using a
file dialog box. Label "Expand Tool Executable:" will be visible only
when the current tool name is "Expand" or "Execute Expanded SQR".
Shrink Tool Executable:
The dialog box next to the label "Shrink Tool Executable:" could be used
to select the Shrink Tool Executable File. Either the name of the
file could be entered in the dialog box or a mouse double click in this
dialog box could be used to select the Shrink Tool Executable using a
file dialog box. Label "Shrink Tool Executable:" will be visible only
when the current tool name is "Shrink".
Cross Ref Batch Tool Executable:
The dialog box next to the label "Cross Ref Batch Tool Executable:" could
be used to select the Multi Cross Reference (Batch) Tool Executable File.
Either the name of the file could be entered in the dialog box or a mouse
double click in this dialog box could be used to select the Cross
Reference Batch Tool Executable using a file dialog box. Label "Cross
Ref Batch Tool Executable:" will be visible only when the current tool
name is "Multi Cross Reference (Batch)".
Cross Ref Online Tool Executable:
The dialog box next to the label "Cross Ref Online Tool Executable:"
could be used to select the Multi Cross Reference (Online) Tool
Executable File. Either the name of the file could be entered in the
dialog box or a mouse double click in this dialog box could be used to
select the Cross Reference Online Tool Executable using a file dialog
box. Label "Cross Ref Online Tool Executable:" will be visible only
when the current tool name is "Multi Cross Reference (Online)".
Debugger Tool Executable:
The dialog box next to the label "Debugger Tool Executable:" could be
used to select the Interactive Debugger Executable File. Either the
name of the file could be entered in the dialog box or a mouse double
click in this dialog box could be used to select the Interactive Debugger
Tool Executable using a file dialog box. Label "Debugger Tool
Executable:" will be visible only when the current tool name is
"Create Interactive Debugger File" or "Exec Interactive Debugger File".
Also when the current tool name is "Exec Interactive Debugger File" the
following 2 check boxes will be visible:
Online Debug
Trace File Debug
These check boxes could be selected or unselected by clicking in
these check boxes.
Profiler Tool Executable:
The dialog box next to the label "Profiler Tool Executable:" could be
used to select the Interactive Profiler Executable File. Either the
name of the file could be entered in the dialog box or a mouse double
click in this dialog box could be used to select the Interactive Profiler
Tool Executable using a file dialog box. Label "Profiler Tool
Executable:" will be visible only when the current tool name is
"Create Interactive Profiler File" or "Exec Interactive Profiler File".
Using this software the following tools could be executed:
Before executing any SQR Tool select the following common files and directory:
Select the SQR Executable file using the dialog box titled "SQR
Executable:", if it has already not been selected.
Enter SQR Connectivity using the dialog box titled "SQR Connectivity:",
if it has already not been entered.
Select the SQR Size file (-M) using the dialog box titled "SQR Size File:
(-M):", if it has already not been selected.
Select the SQR Log file using the dialog box titled "SQR Log File (-O):",
if it has already not been selected.
Select the SQR List Directory using the dialog box titled "SQR List
Directory (-F):", if it has already not been selected.
Select the Text Editor Executable using the dialog box titled "Text
Editor Executable:", if it has already not been selected.
1. SQR Expander:
To know more about this tool refer to SQR Expander User Manual.
In order to execute SQR Expander using this SQR Tools Executer do the
following:
Select "Expand" from the list under "Tool Name:".
Select "Expand Tool Executable" file using the dialog box titled
"Expand Tool Executable File:", if it has already not been
selected.
Select "SQR List(XFSQR.LST)" from the list under "File Name:".
Click on "Execute Editor" to enter the names of the SQRs to be
expanded and save the file.
Click on "Execute Tool" to expand the SQRs entered in Exapnder
SQR List(XFSQR.LST) file.
Select "Log File" from the list under "File Name:" and click on
"Execute Editor" to view the log file. Select "Expanded
Sqr (*.XFE)" from the list under "File Name" to view an Expanded
File. Select "Compiler Listing (*.XFL)" from the list under
"File Name" to view the Compiler Listing of any Expanded File.
Select "Exec Expanded SQR" from the list under "Tool Name:" and
click on "Execute Tool" to execute an Expanded File.
In order to execute any Expanded SQR do the following:
Select "Exec Expanded SQR" from the list under "Tool
Name:"
Enter SQR Flag inforation specific for the Expanded SQR
being executed using the dialog box titled "Expanded SQR
Flags:".
Click on "Execute Tool" to Execute an Expanded SQR File.
2. SQR Shrink:
To know more about this tool refer to SQR Shrink User Manual.
In order to execute SQR Shrink using this SQR Tools Executer do the
following:
Select "Shrink" from the list under "Tool Name:".
Select "Shrink Tool Executable" file using the dialog box titled
"Shrink Tool Executable File:", if it has already not been
selected.
Select "SQR List(XFSQR.LST)" from the list under "File Name:".
Click on "Execute Editor" to enter the names of the Expanded
SQRs to be shrunk and save the file.
Click on "Execute Tool" to shrink the SQRs entered in Shrink
SQR List(XFSQR.LST) file. Expander and Shrink tools share
the same SQR List(XFSQR.LST) file.
3. SQR Multi Cross Reference (Batch):
To know more about this tool refer to batch processing part of
SQR Multi Cross Reference User Manual.
In order to Execute SQR Multi Cross Reference (Batch) using this SQR
Tools Executer do the following:
Select "Multi Cross Reference (Batch)" from the list under
"Tool Name:".
Select "Cross Ref Batch Tool Executable" file using the dialog
box titled "Cross Ref Batch Tool Executable:", if it has already
not been selected.
Select "SQR List(XFSQR.LST)" from the list under "File Name:".
Click on "Execute Editor" to enter the names of SQRs to be added
into SQR Multi Cross Reference System and save the file.
Click on "Execute Tool" to add the SQRs entered in SQR List
(XFSQR.LST) file into SQR Multi Cross Reference System.
4. SQR Multi Cross Reference (Online):
To know more about this tool refer to online processing part of
SQR Multi Cross Reference User Manual.
In order to Execute SQR Multi Cross Reference (Online) using this SQR
Tools Executer do the following:
Select "Multi Cross Reference (Online)" from the list under
"Tool Name:".
Select "Cross Ref Online Tool Executable" file using the dialog
box titled "Cross Ref Online Tool Executable:", if it has already
not been selected.
Click on "Execute Tool" to execute SQR Multi Cross Reference
Online System.
5. SQR Multi Cross Reference Reports:
To know more about these reports refer to batch processing part
of SQR Multi Cross Reference User Manual.
In order to view SQR Multi Cross Reference Reports using this SQR Tools
Executer do the following:
Select "Multi Cross Reference (Batch)" or "Multi Cross Reference
(Online)" from the list under "Tool Name:".
Select "Cross Ref Online Tool Executable" or "Cross Ref Batch
Tool Executable" file using the dialog box titled "Cross Ref
Online Tool Executable:" or , "Cross Ref Batch Tool Executable:"
if it has already not been selected.
Click on "Execute Editor" to view SQR Multi Cross Reference
Batch Reports.
6. Create SQR Interactive Debugger File

In order to Create SQR Interactive Debugger File using this SQR Tools
Executer do the following:
Select "Create Interactive Debugger File" from the list under
"Tool Name:".
Select "Debugger Tool Executable" file using the dialog
box titled "Debugger Tool Executable:", if it has already not
been selected.
Select "SQR List(XFSQR.LST)" from the list under "File Name:".
Click on "Execute Editor" to enter the names of SQRs for which
SQR Interactive Debugger Files have to be created and save the
file.
Click on "Execute Tool" to create SQR Interactive Debugger
Files.
6. Execute SQR Interactive Debugger File

In order to Execute SQR Interactive Debugger File using this SQR Tools
Executer do the following:
Select "Execute Interactive Debugger File" from the list under
"Tool Name:".
Select "Debugger Tool Executable" file using the dialog
box titled "Debugger Tool Executable:", if it has already not
been selected.
Select or Unselect "Online Debug" and/or "Trace File Debug"
check boxes as needed.
Enter SQR Flag inforation specific for the SQR being debugged
using the dialog box titled "Debug SQR Flags:".
Click on "Execute Tool" to Execute an SQR Interactive Debugger
File.
7. Create SQR Interactive Profiler File

In order to Create SQR Interactive Profiler file using this SQR Tools
Executer do the following:
Select "Create Interactive Profiler File" from the list under
"Tool Name:".
Select "Profiler Tool Executable" file using the dialog
box titled "Profiler Tool Executable:", if it has already not
been selected.
Select "SQR List(XFSQR.LST)" from the list under "File Name:".
Click on "Execute Editor" to enter the names of SQRs for which
SQR Interactive Profiler Files have to be created and save the
file.
Click on "Execute Tool" to create SQR Interactive Profiler
Files.
8. Execute SQR Interactive Profiler File

In order to Execute SQR Interactive Profiler file using this SQR Tools
Executer do the following:
Select "Execute Interactive Profiler File" from the list under
"Tool Name:".
Select "Profiler Tool Executable" file using the dialog
box titled "Profiler Tool Executable:", if it has already not
been selected.
Enter SQR Flag inforation specific for the SQR being profiled
using the dialog box titled "Profiler SQR Flags:".
Click on "Execute Tool" to Execute an SQR Interactive Profiler
File.
8. Execute SQR File
Select "Execute SQR File" from the list under "Tool Name:".
Select "SQR" file using the dialog box titled "SQR Fille:", if
an SQR file has already not been selected.
Select "SQR File" or "SQT File" button depending on the type of
SQR File
Enter SQR Flag inforation specific for the SQR being executed
using the dialog box titled "SQR Flags:".
Click on "Execute SQR" to Execute the SQR File.
